PrismBlocks · How We Handle Your Data

1. Short Version

PrismBlocks runs almost entirely in your browser. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal detail to play. The one thing we do store is your personal best score, and it stays on your own device.

2. What We Collect

The game saves your best score locally in your browser's storage so it's there next time you visit. Beyond that, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information common to any website visit — things like approximate request time, browser type, and general device category — used only to keep the site running smoothly.

3. What We Don't Collect

We don't collect names, email addresses, precise location, payment details, or any identifier tied to a real-world identity. There are no accounts, no logins, and no player profiles stored on our servers.

4. How Information Is Used

Locally stored scores are used only to power the "Best" display in the game itself. Server-side technical logs are used solely for diagnosing errors, monitoring uptime, and understanding rough traffic patterns so we know if the site needs more capacity.

5. Storage and Retention

Your best score lives in your browser's local storage until you clear your browser data or use a different device — we never see it or copy it elsewhere. Server technical logs are automatically rotated and deleted on a routine schedule, typically within 30 days.

6. Third Parties

We use a standard web font provider to load the typefaces on this page, which may receive a basic request from your browser in the ordinary course of loading a font file. We do not share, sell, or rent any information to advertisers, data brokers, or analytics networks.

7. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and because so little data ever leaves your device in the first place, there's very little for us to protect on our end. Still, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and this policy shouldn't be read as such a guarantee.

8. Your Choices

You can clear your locally stored high score at any time through your browser's site-data settings. Doing so simply resets the "Best" counter back to zero — nothing needs to be requested from us, because we never held a copy.

9. Policy Updates

If our data practices change, we'll update this page and adjust the date noted in our changelog. Continuing to use PrismBlocks after an update means you're comfortable with the current version.

10. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to hello@prismblocks.studio and we'll get back to you promptly.
